Scorching Sambal Udang Kurma
Made With MARIGOLD
Evaporated Filled Milk
Ingredients
300g large prawns, cut off sharp parts
4 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp tamarind paste
100ml water
2 pieces tomato, diced
6 dates
200ml MARIGOLD Evaporated Filled Milk
2 tbsp lime juice
Salt and sugar to taste
Ingredients to blend
16 dried chillies, soaked until soft
8 pieces shallots
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp shrimp paste, burned
Method

Heat pan with oil. Stir fry the blended ingredients until oil separates. Add in the tamarind paste, tomato, dates, prawns and water. Cook for 5 – 8 minutes or until prawns are cooked.

Lastly, put in the MARIGOLD Evaporated Filled Milk and the lime juice. Season with salt and sugar to taste.
Chef's Tips
Taste before adding in sugar as dates are considerably sweet.
